consultancy specializing in project management and training; marketing and plan preparation, and all things workplace health and safety management.

We’re based on the business experience of the owner and the experiences of a key group of professional consultants. Our collective experience allows us to provide consultation for company executives to entry level employees. We are committed to providing superior quality services, on time and within budget.

JOE SHAW
Senior Consultant EHS Management + Training

Joe has over 22 years’ experience with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He is knowledgeable of the federal procurement system, construction and contract management, facilities operations and maintenance, and environmental, health and safety management.

He has 18 years of experience in the construction industry. He was co-founder and held the position of Vice President of Operation for SRS, Inc. a Multi-Million-dollar African American owned company concentrating on delivering a diverse array of high-quality construction and management projects and services to the Federal Government and Commercial marketplace. As a small minority business owner, he knows what it takes to market, successfully secure, and execute projects from new business development to close-out of completed contracts.

He helped grow a corporation to market leadership―including Black Enterprise (BE) 100 Top 76 in Growth in 2013 ($32.4 M) and BE 100 Top 75 in 2014 ($38.1M).

JONAE WOODS

Public Relations + Branding Consultant

Jonaé is the owner of Angelic Branding Consulting, a brand strategy and development agency working remotely in the Southeast Region. She has expertise in strategy and creative direction, digital and social media marketing and media relations. As a brand enthusiast, she is passionate about what she creates, who she serves, and the specialities she offers. Her work includes projects for Meharry Medical College, American Baptist College, and TDS & Associates, among others.

Prior to launching Angelic Branding, Jonaé was the Director of Engagement for the international nonprofit, The Joseph School. There, she managed the nonprofit’s strategic development, fundraising, and communication. She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public Relations from the University of Alabama – Tuscaloosa, AL.

NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF STATE CONTRACTORS LICENSING AGENCIES (NASCLA)

The certification from National Association of State Contractors Licensing Agencies (NASCLA) National Commercial Building Contractors, allows Joe to serve as a Qualifying Agent for any company that needs a general contractors license and wants to do business in any of these states. This General Contractor license certification is good for following states: AL, AZ, AK, FL, GA, LA, MS, NV, NC, OR, SC, TN, UT, VA, WV, and USVI

BOARD OF CERTIFIED SAFETY PROFESSIONALS

CONSTRUCTION HEALTH AND SAFETY TECHNICIAN

The Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) certification is designed for individuals who demonstrate competency and work in health and safety activities devoted to the prevention of construction illnesses and injuries. The CHST certification meets national standards for certifications.

CERTIFIED FLAGGER INSTRUCTOR TRAINER

The certification allows for training of work zone flaggers in both one-and two person flagging operations. Controlling traffic through work areas is one of the most important – and dangerous – operations in construction maintenance. completion. The training provided meet the federal industry guidelines of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) and the ANSI standard ISEA-107-2015; The Office of Highway Safety; the Federal Highway Administration.

OSHA CERTIFICATIONS

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) ensures safe and healthful working conditions for working men and women by setting and enforcing standards, and by providing training, outreach, education and assistance. We are certified in:
